Word Wise Water Systems seeks to partner with residents, housing nonprofits, and county officials to innovate a new model for public-private-partnership that brings these basic services to families awaiting running water for decades.
We seek to provide clean water to places such as Appalachia and the Navajo Nation in the U.S. since the water crisis exists there. We are a WASH organization (water, sanitation, and hygiene), with the goal of bringing running water to those experiencing water crisis.
Safe water is essential for drinking, cooking, hygiene, sanitation, and health. Reliable access shouldn’t be a luxury but part of everyday life! It can also support education and economic development—with less students missing school and less workers missing days due to contracting water borne illnesses or diarrhea.
We believe clean-water solutions should be: built to provide lasting benefits rather than temporary solutions. Community led projects with local knowledge, participation and ownership are key to long-term water security and environmental sustainability.
Clean water can transform a community and together, we can help to create a future where safe water is not a privilege, but a reality for everyone—it’s a human dignity issue.
